Returns & Refunds – NYC Safety Supply
At NYC Safety Supply, we want every order to arrive correctly, safely, and in the condition expected. If something is wrong with your order, we’re here to help.
Return Window
Eligible returns may be requested within 30 days of delivery.
To qualify for a return, items must be unused, unworn, unopened when applicable, and in their original packaging with all parts, labels, manuals, and materials included.
Return Eligibility
Returned items must be in new, resellable condition.
For health, hygiene, and safety reasons, certain products may not be eligible for return once opened, worn, used, installed, activated, calibrated, contaminated, or removed from their original packaging.
Items that may not be eligible for return include, but are not limited to:
Opened masks, respirators, filters, or respiratory protection products
Opened first aid, medical, or emergency care products
Used, worn, or contaminated PPE
Fall protection equipment that has been worn, used, altered, or removed from original packaging
Hazardous, contaminated, or used spill response materials
Activated, calibrated, or installed gas detectors or safety devices
Custom, special-order, clearance, or final-sale items
Cut-length, modified, or made-to-order products
Items that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect will be reviewed for replacement, refund, or return approval.
Return Authorization Required
Please do not send any item back without return authorization.
Returns must be reviewed and approved before the item is shipped back. Returns sent without authorization may not be accepted or refunded.
How to Start a Return
To request a return, email info@nycsafetysupply.com with the following information:
Order number
Item name or SKU
Reason for return
Photos, if the item arrived damaged, defective, incorrect, or incomplete
We will review the request, confirm eligibility, and provide return instructions if the return is approved.
Return Shipping
For approved returns, return instructions and any applicable return label details will be provided after the request is reviewed.
If the item arrived damaged, defective, incorrect, or due to a warehouse or shipping error, we will help arrange the proper return, replacement, or refund process.
Damage, Shortage & Defects
Shipping damage, missing items, or shortages should be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item, packaging, and carrier label.
Defective or incorrect items should be reported within 7 days of delivery.
Reports made after these timeframes may still be reviewed, but approval is not guaranteed.
Refund Timing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after the returned item is received, inspected, and approved.
Once approved, refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days. Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to post the refund to your account.
Final Review
NYC Safety Supply reserves the right to deny returns that do not meet the requirements of this policy, including items that are used, opened when required to remain sealed, damaged after delivery, missing parts or packaging, contaminated, altered, or returned without authorization.
